Are you an authorised dealer for Philips, Schneider and Legrand?

Yes. See Kwong Electric is an authorised retailer for Philips Lighting, Schneider Electric, Legrand, BSLight, YET Industrial Fans, Tonn Cable and other major brands. All products are genuine and SIRIM-certified where applicable.

How long has See Kwong Electric been operating?

Since 1958 — over 65 years supplying electrical products to contractors, businesses and homeowners across Ipoh and Perak. We are a third-generation family business.

Do you offer installation services?

Do your products meet SIRIM certification requirements?

Yes. We only stock SIRIM-certified products for the Malaysian market — no grey imports. This is especially important for contractors submitting to JKR or TNB for project approval.

Can you source hard-to-find electrical parts?

Yes. With 65 years in the trade, we have deep supplier networks across Malaysia. WhatsApp us with your spec or part number and we'll advise on availability and lead time.

What is the difference between MCB, RCCB and RCBO?

An MCB (Miniature Circuit Breaker) protects against overload and short circuits. An RCCB (Residual Current Circuit Breaker) protects against earth leakage — essential for wet areas. An RCBO combines both functions in one device. Most modern homes and commercial spaces require a combination. What cable specification is required for TNB overhead line projects in Malaysia?

TNB overhead distribution line projects require Aerial Bundle Cable (ABC) manufactured to TNB SPEC (KEJ 02106) and IEC 60502-1. We stock Tonn ABC Cable in single-phase and three-phase configurations at our Ipoh store. Contact us to confirm sizing and drum length availability for your project.

Can you supply materials for JKR or TNB projects in Perak?

Do you offer same-day collection in Ipoh?

Yes — for in-stock items, same-day walk-in collection is available during business hours at our Ipoh store. We also have standby drivers for same-day delivery within Ipoh for urgent project needs.

How do I place an order online?

Can I order online and collect in store?

Yes. Select store pickup at checkout and collect from our Ipoh store during business hours, Monday–Saturday, 8:30am–5:00pm.

What if the product I need is not listed online?

Our online catalogue does not list every product we carry. WhatsApp us at 016-5261333 or email shop@seekwong.com with your requirements — there is a good chance we have it in stock or can source it for you.

What payment methods do you accept online?

We accept the following payment methods for online orders:

What payment methods do you accept in store?

For walk-in purchases at our Ipoh store, we accept:

Can I pay via bank transfer for large orders?

Is it safe to pay online on seekwong.com?

Yes. Our online store is powered by EasyStore and uses SSL encryption to protect your payment information. We do not store your card details.

8. Delivery

Do you offer delivery?

Yes. We offer same-day delivery within Ipoh via our standby drivers. For deliveries outside Ipoh within Perak, contact us to confirm availability and charges. Nationwide courier delivery is available for smaller items via our online store.

How long does delivery take?

Same-day for Ipoh orders placed before 3:00pm (subject to stock availability). For courier delivery, standard lead time is 2–5 working days depending on location.

9. Returns & Warranty

What is your return policy?

We accept returns for items that are defective or incorrectly supplied, within 7 days of purchase with original packaging and receipt. Items that have been installed cannot be returned. Contact us at shop@seekwong.com before returning any item.

Do your products come with warranty?

Yes — warranty terms vary by brand and product. Philips, Schneider Electric, Legrand and YET products carry manufacturer warranties. Details are listed on individual product pages. For warranty claims, contact us with your proof of purchase.
